The technology, which includes inverters, array boxes, DC combiner boxes, PV Boxes, transformers, MV and grid boxes, is interconnected via Schneider Electric’s Conext Control, the plant monitoring and control system.
The control tower provides full, real-time visibility of the performance of the various PV plants located in the country, accessible both by the investors and by Schneider Electric maintenance teams.
The company's "Hypervision" solution allows for a wide range of data to be accessed via a single computer screen.
As a result, the team in charge of operation and maintenance can continuously monitor and anticipate the performance of the equipment, optimize the execution of all service activities through better planning of parts availability and, ultimately, maximize energy production.
“Schneider Electric can offer peace of mind and superior return on investment to customers in the photovoltaic field thanks to the combination of our integrated PV equipment, our best-in-class monitoring and control system and our local dedicated service teams”, said Mr Laurent Bataille, the Senior Vice President overseeing Schneider's solar business.
Schneider Electric now has operations in more than 100 countries.
