The company received permission recently from the government to build a 90-megawatt hydro power plant in the area between Binh Dinh province and the central highland province of Gia Lai. Vietnam along with its neighbors has been fighting increasing demand for electricity with estimates putting increase around 15% per year on average. Recent droughts have though however made power generation a difficult business.
