The solar array was connected last Monday. Each wing is 35 meters long.
One of the older solar arrays has been folded up so that it can be moved in the future.
Without clouds and far away from the Middle East oil wlells, there are not many alternatives available for space missions. Indeed, these initiatives have been (and are expected to remain so), a great field for experimenting new renewable energy technologies.
