Suzlon signs new deal with Pacific Hydro Limited of Australia

 

The deal is for 56.7 MW of wind power and will see 27 of the Suzlon S88 2.1 MW wind turbine units being sold to the company.

The units will be installed at a project named “Clements Gap Wind Farm”. The project is located some 250 kilometers north of Adelaide and marks Pacific Hydro's first project since the announcement by the government to mandate 20% renewable energy by 2020. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, and a five year maintenance contract and is scheduled for completion in early 2010.
