Vestas receives order for 66 MW in Italy

The package will consist of 31 units of the V90-2.0 MW turbine and 5 units of the V52-850 kW turbine and is destined for the Trapani Salemi project. The order includes the VestasOnline™ Business SCADA system as well as a five-year service agreement.

WINCDO Spa is a project company belonging to Electrabel which is part of the SUEZ Group. The project is expected to generate 180 GWh of power per year and meet the power needs of 75,000 Italian households. Delivery will start in December 2008 of this year and the project will be completed by October 2009.
