Vestas of Denmark has received an order for 33 wind trubine units to be in installed in the Untied States
RES Americas, Inc., a leading wind development company and subsidiary of Renewable Energy Systems Ltd in the UK, is developing and constructing the Central Plains Wind Farm and has placed the order for the 33 wind turbines. The company is currently developing more than 1,000 MW of wind power capacity in North America. The wind power plant will be owned and operated by Westar Energy, Inc., the largest electric utility in Kansas, and forms part of Westar’s wind energy program, which will be the largest of its kind in Kansas to date.
