The new project, Collarmele, converts 73,000 tonnes/year of chicken manure and vegetable waste (fennels, carrots, and potatoes) into 500 Nm³/h of biomethane, utilising Biogest PowerRing and PowerDigest technology. The project includes a CO2 liquefaction unit.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the progress and success of BIOP’s first plant operation project in Collarmele” said Romeo D’Amore, Founder Alpalux Energy. “It’s truly a milestone moment for both the Biogest-Group and the renewable energy sector as a whole. This project demonstrates Biop’s and Alpalux Energy commitment to sustainable and innovative solutions. I can’t wait for our first green gas production.”
Biop Green Gas, a subsidiary of the Biogest-Group, specialises in developing, constructing, and operating biogas and biomethane plants as an active shareholder globally.
