According to recent published reports, the value of electricity generated from biomass in the United States is expected to increasing from $45 billion in 2010 to $53 billion by 2020.
In a written statement the company said it is currently in talks to acquire an unspecified number of 1MW plants, which is double the size of its current 500 KW plant located in Merced County, California.
Through its existing, unspecified partnerships, the company said it has access to several biomass plants ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW in size.
Progressively adding additional plants will help Cleantech Transit, Inc. achieve a steady revenue stream, which can be reinvested in developing larger biomass facilities around the world. the company said.
In addition the company said it is in talks with various groups to provide technical and operational assistance to help develop biomass facilities based on their business needs.
