WEDA from Lutten, Germany, the other co-partner of WELTEC, took ownership of Stallkamp's shares and now holds a 100 percent stake of the group.
In a written statement, the company said Erich Stallkamp ESTA GmbH will continue as a full component supplier also to WELTEC – providing it with stainless steel digesters, stainless steel storage tanks, pumping, stirring and separation technologies.
In other company news, WELTEC recently announced that it will start up two new UK biomass plants this Spring.
WELTEC's 500 kW anaerobic digestion project for the Foyle Food Group in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, will be fed with waste from the company’s abattoirs.
In Leicester, another 500kW agricultural biogas scheme will rely on a conventional mix of renewable raw materials.
