ETA-Florence will collaborate with IEA Bioenergy to raise the profile of the bioenergy sector globally, by driving higher levels of engagement and relevance with stakeholders, especially policymakers and media outlets and by delivering an effective communication strategy to enable change and uptake of bioenergy at commercialisation and market deployment levels.
“We are very delighted to have been selected to support IEA Bioenergy on its mission” said Angela Grassi, Managing Director at ETA-Florence Renewable Energies. “We will bring our expertise in communication and dissemination activities to keep increasing global awareness on sustainable bioenergy.”
Jim Spaeth, Chair of the IEA Bioenergy TCP, added that bioenergy and the bioeconomy are near term opportunities that can play a highly impactful role in the transition to clean energy in the power, heat, and transport sectors and that bioenergy’s positive contributions to climate impact mitigation and sustainable development needs to be fostered and shared.
