This year's installment of the popular conference will be held 24 - 25 February 2016 in Wels/Austria in conjunction with the World Sustainable Energy Days.
The conference is a meeting place for the global pellet community, and its speakers and various presentations will provide in-depth information on pellet innovation, and market, policy and financing trends.
Attendees will also get the up-to-the-minute updates on the latest research and technology trends.
Always popular at the European Pellet Conference are the technical site visits, and a notable highlight is the "Young Researchers Conference: Biomass" - an event for young researchers on biomass with the award "Best Young Researcher: Biomass."
And of course, no European Pellet Conference would be complete without its extensive trade show, featuring more than 100 pellet-related exhibitors.
The conference is organized by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria.
Incidentally, Upper Austria is an ideal location for the conference as more than 25 percent of all biomass boilers sold in the EU are manufactured by there.
