The power generation facility commenced business operations on March 1st. The facility permits mixed combustion using wood biomass. The company says it “seeks to contribute to the preservation of domestic forests (a key issue in recent years) by using unused woody materials mainly from Tohoku, including Miyagi Prefecture.”
According to Nippon, its aim is to contribute to better living and cultural progress and its energy business operations are one aspect of these efforts.
