The order placed by Kambeny is for 28 eSite green power solutions to be deployed in remote areas of Mozambique supplying both DC and AC power for loads up to 11.4kVA. The units will also be equipped with solar panels to maximise the use of renewable and environmentally friendly solar power, while also minimising diesel-related costs and carbon emissions. The eSite units have been constructed in Flexenclosure’s factory in Sweden and are currently being deployed in Mozambique.
eSite is a hybrid power system for off-grid and bad-grid cell sites delivering 24/7 network uptime and diesel-related cost savings of up to 90 per cent. eManager, an all-in-one toolbox for site power infrastructure management, including remote monitoring, power optimisation, KPI reporting and site logistics, is an integral part of the product.
“We needed a reliable and efficient hybrid power solution to enable sustainable network expansions into the most remote areas of Mozambique” said Fernando Bilale, Director, Kambeny. “After evaluating a number of alternatives, we’re confident that Flexenclosure’s solar-capable eSite system will deliver the best possible results.”
David King, CEO, Flexenclosure, added that having already built two eCentre prefabricated data centres in Maputo and Matola, the company is pleased to be bringing eSite to Mozambique also. The order from Kambeny will further expand the company’s considerable footprint across Africa.
