20 startups were selected last month at Rockstart’s ‘Rockstart Selection Days’ in the port of Amsterdam. Engie, ČEZ group, DOEN Participaties BV and other informal investors have now been joined by Shell Technology Ventures. Partners Gasunie, de Volksbank, and Microsoft are providing sponsorship and numerous in-kind and engagement investments to support the Smart Energy Accelerator. Furthermore, the programme is supported by knowledge and network partners Accenture, Elevate, Wintertaling, PNO, and Amsterdam Smart City.
Rockstart Smart Energy is currently preparing the Smart Energy Summit, which will take place on May 11th, 2017 in the Tobacco Theatre Amsterdam. Its aim is to combine startup innovation with support from corporations to accelerate the energy transition.
Rockstart is a Netherlands-based accelerator programme that helps startups be more successful in their first 1,000 days through funding and mentorship (Rockstart Accelerator and Rockstart Impact), community and office space (Rockstart Spaces), relevant startup events (Rockstart Answers).
