SSE Energy Solutions, which supplies energy to over 400,000 business customers across GB, has become the first supplier to use the app under the white label ‘SSE Insights’.

The launch of SSE Insights leverages the technology behind SMS’s Smart Energy Data platform. The collaboration between SSE Energy Solutions and SMS also builds on their existing commercial relationship, with SMS having been a smart meter installation partner and data services provider for the company since 2019.
As a licensable, white label software solution, Smart Energy Data is targeted at UK energy suppliers as well as other consumer-facing organisations outside the traditional utilities sector – such as high street banks and retailers – who can white-label the app to boost engagement with their SME customers.
