Daikin is focusing on new solutions for all applications and a stronger partnership with installers, as well as commitment to a safe and unique refrigerant approach. The company’s portfolio runs on a variety of refrigerants and is tailored to diverse needs. The latest Daikin Altherma 4 range runs on R290 (propane) and the company’s extended Multi+ range uses R454c, which is a mildly flammable replacement for R404A and R22 with a low global warming potential (GWP). Both of these are aimed at addressing the needs of the residential housing market.
The company is also showcasing the Daikin Chiller, utilising R290, for larger applications and which allows for a modular set-up for industrial applications.
Daikin says that these solutions make it easier than ever to transition away from fossil fuels across applications, whether heating a small home, managing climate control in an office or cooling a factory.
Alongside its product solutions, the company will also be showcasing its professional support and service offer, backed by a large network of skilled installers across Europe. The online residential support platform "Stand By Me" is already widely used by Daikin's installers. The platform will be further expanded for all residential heat pump solutions, including air-to-air heat pumps. This "Stand By Me Certified Partner" programme will provide training and certification for safe and effective installation and after-sales care.
The company’s expertise in HVAC services is now delivered through “Daikin 360 Integrated Service Solution”, which provides all the services needed for installations to run smoothly, and to help control maintenance and operational costs.
“Safety and sustainability drive everything we do” said Carl Lievens, General Manager Heating & Renewables at Daikin Europe. “With over 100 years of innovation and more than 50 years of developing solutions for Europe, we once again confirm our leadership position in the heat pump industry. Our Daikin Altherma remains the most sold hydronic heat pump in Europe since its launch in 20061) – a testament to our dedication to quality, efficiency, and reliability. As we introduce these new solutions at ISH25, we also call on the entire industry to join us in prioritising safety and sustainability.”
