The conference will be hosted at the offices of law firm Baker & McKenzie in London and is intended to help conference delegates identify sources of financial savings thereby increasing their company’s available capital.
Cutting energy consumption could save the EU an estimated 50 billion Euros per year but making energy efficiency gains has proved to be a complicated process, mainly because the techniques involved in making finance flow efficiently are poorly understood despite the opportunities available. Energy efficiency measures are the simplest way for companies to reduce their energy bills and should therefore be a priority in the current economic climate.
To this end the conference will focus on the latest trends and opportunities in energy efficiency policy, finance and investment with presentations from expert speakers from a range of international companies including E.ON, Sainsburys, The European Commission, RBS, ING Bank and the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).
