The Renewable Energy Association (REA) is calling for nominations for its Annual British Renewable Awards, now in its eighth year.
The competition recognises the breadth and diversity of the UK renewable energy sector while celebrating the hard work of advocates, policymakers and green business executives.
our Awards recognise the breadth and diversity of our unique and innovative industry, as well as the hard work of advocates, policymakers and green business heroes.
The full list of categories is as follows…
“It is vitally important we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our unique industry and tell the stories of how renewables are positively changing our society” said REA Chief Executive Gaynor Hartnell. “But to be clear, these awards are not just for renewables companies. We particularly want to hear from businesses that are pioneering an application of renewable technology, perhaps creating pathways that others can follow. Or organisations which are mainstreaming renewables through the scale of their investments or their commitment to meeting their energy needs from renewable sources - be they in retail, manufacturing or the services sector.”
Nominations can be made on REA’s nomination form at Surveymonkey. You can also share your nominations on Twitter by using the hashtag #BREA2013.
