Norsk E-Fuel Partners With Prime Capital And RES To Produce SAF in Sweden

Norsk e-Fuel , a leading Norwegian project development company specializing in e-Fuels, has announced a collaboration with Prime Capital to produce SAF in Sweden. Supported by the renewable energy company RES , the companies will develop “Project Alby,” an industrial-scale e-Fuel plant that will play a vital role in reducing the emissions of the European aviation sector.

Investment in New U.S. Biogas Systems Grows by $3 Billion in 2024

The American Biogas Council released new data showing that 2024 was another record year for the industry. In the 12 months ending in December, 125 new biogas projects came online, representing over $3 billion in new U.S. investments. New projects in 2024 exceeded new projects in 2023 by 17%, while total investment in those projects increased by 40% compared to investment in projects opened in the previous year.

In line with its 2030 ambition to decarbonize the hydrogen used in its European refineries, TotalEnergies has signed agreements with Air Liquide to develop two projects in the Netherlands, for the production and delivery of some 45,000 tons a year of green hydrogen produced using renewable power, generated mostly by the OranjeWind offshore wind farm, developed by TotalEnergies (50%) and RWE (50%).
