As part of a commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future, the Global Ocean Energy Alliance supported a mission in Fiji for an Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Pilot Project. The initiative, backed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, was conducted by Global OTEC's technical experts. The company was asked to meet with national and regional stakeholders in Suva, Fiji.

Voltan offers ground-source heat systems that reduce emissions and energy costs for large properties. Kiilto Ventures is one of the new shareholders in Voltan, which provides heating and cooling as a service. Voltan is an alternative to district heating, which has increased in price by up to 70 percent in recent years  translating into higher costs of living for apartment building residents and owners.

In August, Risen Energy announced the start of mass production of TOPCon modules, which are based on rectangular silicon wafers with dimensions of 182.2 x 191.6 mm. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced the largest state investment in renewable energy in US history.
