Flexibility in regulations, better grid keys to scaling up renewables sector, report says

A report launched ahead of next week’s World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town argues that scaling up renewables requires much more than public and private finance. Instead, say the authors, a more flexible regulatory framework and improvements in electricity grid infrastructure are the keys to building a sustainable, energy-secure future.
