Ceres, a coalition of investors and public interest organisations working with companies to address climate change and other sustainability challenges, has published a series of comments on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate’s Summary for Policymakers of the Special Report on Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX), which was approved last Thursday by IPPC member governments. They highlight that the effects of climate change impact on investors, insurance, agriculture and other sectors including construction.
