Ernst & Young has published its latest quarterly Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index today, which shows diversity in the US market and record development in wind and solar projects. According to the advisory firm, the US has replaced China as the most attractive place to invest in renewable projects anywhere in the world.
Reconciling renewables with biodiversity: Wind of change or burnt by the sun?
Small hydropower as barrier to fish migration, wind farms as danger to birds and the unexpected hazards for snakes. About fifty participants, mainly from the industry, met in Madrid (Spain) late last year to discuss how renewable energies and grid expansion can be reconciled with biodiversity conservation.
