Army establishes renewables task force
John M. McHugh, Secretary of the US Army, announced last week the establishment of the Energy Initiatives Office (EIO) Task Force at the GovEnergy Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to a press statement, the task force will serve as the “central managing office for the development of large-scale Army renewable energy projects”.
