Fossil fuels still providing 78 percent of world energy in 2035, says EIA The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has released its International Energy Outlook for 2011 (IEO2011), which presents updated projections for world energy markets through 2035. According to their findings, world energy use is set to increase by 53 percent by 2035; with China and India accounting for half of the total growth.
