Commissioner Máire Geoghegan-Quinn announced Horizon 2020, an €80 billion programme which some argue is nothing like enough to fund what the European Commission says is necessary to achieve its 2020 targets.
Financial risk most acute hazard for renewables industry, says Economist Intelligence Unit
In a survey commissioned by Swiss Re, the Economist Intelligence Unit asked over 280 executives from the renewable energy industry about the risks and uncertainties they face in renewable energy projects. The findings of the report were presented this morning during a press conference, and indicate that financial risks are the most worrisome for renewable energy developers.
