Researchers Discover Way to Simultaneously Produce Hydrogen and Purify Water

University of Alberta researchers have developed a new catalyst that could revolutionize how the world generates power and purifies water. When placed in any type of water and provided with a small amount of power, the catalyst produces hydrogen that can be fed into a fuel cell to generate electricity along with distilled water that is safe to drink.

DOD Awards Enexor Grant to Address Environmental Needs Affecting U.S. Navy

Enexor BioEnergy, of Franklin, Tenn., a manufacturer of a renewable energy and carbon conversion solution to help solve the world’s organic, biomass, and plastic waste problems, announced it has been awarded a demonstration grant from the Department of Defense’s Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (“ESTCP”). The funding will be utilized to demonstrate its novel Bio-CHP system at a U.S. Navy installation to convert organic and plastic waste into resilient, renewable energy.
