Global energy giant, BP, has agreed to form a 50:50 joint venture with Bunge , a leader in agriculture, food and ingredients, that will create a leading bioenergy company in one of the world’s fastest growing markets for biofuels.

Bright Biomethane North America to Supply First RNG Projects in State of New York 

Following the recent establishment of Bright Biomethane North America, the company’s first biogas upgrading projects will take place in New York. These will be the first RNG projects on the east coast of the US with high efficient 3-stage membrane separation technology, and one of the first in the US using this technology.

Renewable Energy Group Opens First Fueling Station

Biofuel producer, Renewable Energy Group, has opened the company’s first biodiesel fueling station in Seneca, Illinois. Construction on the around-the-clock, fully-automated station began earlier this year. Diesel customers from trucking fleets to local diesel vehicle owners will be able to fill up with biodiesel blended fuel to help reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
