Sugar Valley Energy Project to Issue Green Bonds for Financing Stage

California Ethanol + Power (CE+P) has announced that its Sugar Valley Energy advanced biofuel project has been verified for Green Bond Financing through the alignment of the project with the Green Bond Principles established by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).

The Prince of Wales opened J V Energen’s newly installed CO2 capture facility near the Duchy of Cornwall’s Poundbury development in Dorset on June 9, where green CO₂ is supplied to their new joint venture business BioCarbonics, having been captured from a full-scale Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and biomethane-to-grid plant, to produce a clean, sustainably sourced product for use by local businesses.

This is the second contract in Canada for Waga Energy, which was selected earlier this year by Enercycle to equip the Saint-Étienne-des-Grèslandfill (Québec).

Airbus Establishes Zero-Emission Development Centers in Germany and France

Airbus is concentrating its  efforts for metallic hydrogen tanks in a complementary setup by creating Zero-Emission Development Centers (ZEDC) at its sites in Bremen (Germany) and in Nantes (France). The goal of the ZEDC is to achieve cost-competitive cryogenic tank manufacturing to support the successful future market launch of ZEROe and to accelerate the development of hydrogen-propulsion technologies. The design and integration of tank structures is crucial to the performance of a future hydrogen aircraft.
