C-Job Naval Architects has designed a brand new class of liquid hydrogen tanker that will revolutionize the renewable energy market. The tanker concept, developed in partnership with LH2 Europe, is a critical element in realizing a green end-to-end liquid hydrogen supply chain.

Wärtsilä Builds Major Plant for the Production of REEFUEL, Climate-Neutral Bio-LNG

The technology group Wärtsilä will supply equipment for the world’s second-largest plant capable of liquefying bio-methane and synthetic methane from renewable energy sources to produce carbon-neutral transportation fuel. When operational it will have a capacity of approximately 63,000 tons Bio-LNG per year. The contract was placed in March 2022 by the German energy company REEFUELERY GmbH – a joint venture of Erdgas Südwest GmbH and avanca, a company focused on sustainable energy and logistics solutions.

California Ethanol and Power has advanced through Part I of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs  Office Title XVII Innovative Energy Loan Guarantee Program and Renewable Energy Projects and Efficient Energy Projects Solicitation, a rigorous first stage of consideration to  qualify projects eligible for the program. As a result, CE+P has been invited to submit a Part  II Application for a Federal Loan Guarantee, according to Ron Blake, California Ethanol +  Power’s Chief Financial Officer.

Nestlé Switches to Renewable Energy for its Truck Fleet

Nestlé food and drink products will now be delivered around the UK and Ireland by trucks which emit up to 95% less carbon. This significant reduction in emissions comes after the company switched 75% of its owned fleet of trucks from diesel to Bio-LNG, a liquefied gas which is a byproduct of waste. The move is a significant step towards Nestlé's commitment to be net zero by 2050.
