GIDARA Names PX Group Operator at Bio-Methanol Plant in Port of Amsterdam

The plant, plans for which were revealed last year by GIDARA Energy and is due to become operational in 2024, is GIDARA Energy’s advanced biofuels facility and will convert non-recyclable waste into advanced methanol. The plant is known as Advanced Methanol Amsterdam and is located in the BioPark, a location in the Port of Amsterdam.

U.S. Patent Office Confirms Patent for Evonik

The U.S. Patent Office has confirmed the validity of Evonik's patent for a 3-stage process for efficient biogas upgrading using SEPURAN® Green membranes in a voluntary supplementary examination procedure. Based on this decision, biogas projects in the USA using the patented separation process can continue to be offered and implemented exclusively by Evonik and its partners. The decision by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office also applies to biogas projects outside the U.S., provided they use the patented separation process and components essential to the process that are manufactured in the United States.
