Nature Energy Biogas to be Acquired By Shell

Nature Energy Biogas A/S, a leader in biomethane and renewable energy production from organic waste, has entered into a definitive agreement under which Shell Petroleum NV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell will acquire 100% of the company for a total enterprise value of nearly $2 billion (€1.9 billion). Nature Energy owns and operates 14 industrial scale biomethane plants and an international development pipeline of about 30 plants across Europe and North America.

Greenlane Renewables Announces Dairy RNG System Sale 

Greenlane Renewables Inc.  announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Greenlane Biogas North America Ltd., has been awarded a $3.5 million contract for a dairy RNG project in the Western United States for the supply of a biogas upgrading system. Greenlane will supply its pressure swing adsorption system for upgrading biogas generated from anaerobic digestion of dairy cow manure into carbon negative renewable natural gas suitable for injection into the local pipeline network. Order fulfillment is expected to commence immediately.
