Blueprint for Commercial E-fuel Production Being Built with Siemens Energy Technology Danish energy company Ørsted is building Europe’s largest commercial production facility for carbon-neutral marine fuels in northeastern Sweden. At the heart of the FlagshipONE plant is a technology package from Siemens Energy comprising four proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers with a total capacity of 70 megawatts, as well as the plant-wide electrification and automation systems, including innovative digitalization solutions (such as the use of digital twins), and the entire power distribution and compressor systems. | Biofuels Port of London Authority Carbon Reduction Plans on Track Thanks to Use of Biofuel The Port of London Authority (PLA) has achieved a major milestone, halving its carbon emissions last year, as it made strong progress in its Net Zero program. The PLA, which oversees safe operations in the UK’s busiest port, has committed to achieve Net Zero by 2040, or earlier. Last year’s performance delivered the 50% cut in carbon emissions three years ahead of the original 2025 target. The introduction of sustainable biofuel, in place of diesel in its fleet of vessels as an interim measure was the key initial step in improving performance. | Eni Diesel From 100% Renewable Raw Materials Powers Spinelli Group Trucks Biogas Biomass Wooden Biomass Power Generation Market to Witness Huge Growth by Key Players Hydrogen Honda's zero emission stationary fuel cell provides back up power to California data centre First Hydrogen prepares Light Commercial Vehicles for deployment Agenda K.EY 2023 Biofuels International Conference & Expo |
