Capstone Green Energy Secures Order for 800kW Biogas Fueled Microturbine Energy Solution

Capstone Green Energy announced that Micropower Europe S.L., its distributor in Spain and Portugal, has secured an order for a C800 Signature Series with a Micropower biogas treatment unit and four heat recovery modules. The unit will be operated at a landfill to produce electricity for waste management and recycling operations. It is expected to be commissioned in October 2023.

Researchers Produce Clean, Usable Fuels Made from Solar Power

Researchers have developed a solar-powered technology that converts carbon dioxide and water into liquid fuels that can be added directly to a car’s engine as drop-in fuel. The researchers, from the University of Cambridge, harnessed the power of photosynthesis to convert CO2, water and sunlight into multicarbon fuels – ethanol and propanol – in a single step. These fuels have a high energy density and can be easily stored or transported.

Vermont Renewable Gas, LLC, an affiliated limited liability company of CETY, has entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Northeastern Vermont Development Association to purchase 8 acres in the Saint Johnsbury/Lyndon Industrial Park.
