Kore Infrastructure has unveiled more details about its partnership with the Tule River Economic Development Corporation with support from the California Department of Conservation to develop a modular, forest biomass to carbon-negative biofuels facility in Porterville, California.

Anaergia Selected to Design, Build and Operate Organic Waste-to-Renewable Energy Project 

Anaergia Inc. has been selected as the Energy Recovery Contractor for a new system that will produce renewable power from wastewater sludge at the East County Advanced Water Purification (East County AWP) facility now under construction in Santee, California. Anaergia anticipates the Energy Recovery project will also eventually digest food waste along with the wastewater sludge. Anaergia is expected to design and build the waste-to-renewable energy facility and provide long-term operations and maintenance after commissioning.

Holyhead Hydrogen Hub Set to Receive £3.8m Growth Deal Funding

Menter Môn has welcomed news that the Holyhead Hydrogen Hub has been included as one of five new projects which could benefit from North Wales Growth Deal funding. In a recent meeting, members of the North Wales Ambition Board supported a recommendation to invite five new projects to join the Growth Deal portfolio – with the Anglesey project amongst those approved. Subject to meeting certain criteria the Hub can now go on to develop its outline business case to secure the funding.
