Heliogen Achieves Breakthrough Temperatures from Concentrated Sunlight Heliogen, the clean energy company that is transforming sunlight to create and replace fuels, has announced its launch and that it has – for the first time commercially – concentrated solar energy to exceed temperatures greater than 1,000 degrees Celsius. At that temperature, Heliogen can replace the use of fossil fuels in critical industrial processes, including the production of cement, steel, and petrochemicals, dramatically reducing greenhouse gas emissions from these activities. This singular scientific achievement was accomplished at Heliogen’s commercial facility in Lancaster, California. | Ana Bera Renewable Energy: Making the World a Better Place Biofuels Neste Opens New Office in Australia Biogas Macquarie Capital Completes First UK Biogas Investment Committee on Climate Change CEO Chris Stark to headline ADBA National Conference 2019 Electric/Hybrid First Lotus Evija prototypes complete high-speed testing as world tour arrives at Guangzhou Auto Show Amey Investments White Paper makes recommendations for enhanced UK mobility sector Automobili Pininfarina presents 2020 vision to transform its luxury EV business Italy Ionity expands its pan-European network with a high-power charging station in Brenner Energy saving LEED v4 Reaches New Milestone in Canada Interviews Renewable Energy Magazine Talks With Antonio Delgado Rigal of AleaSoft Panorama Democrats Introduce Clean Economy Bill, Target Zero Emmissions by 2050 China Achieving net-zero carbon emissions while becoming a rich developed economy is technically and economically feasible for China by 2050 Spain AleaSoft to participate in the National Congress of Renewable Energies in Madrid PV New Solar Array to Power Dana's Ohio Operation Sweden Midsummer launches increased power solar roof First Sun2Rope Solar Energy Project Completed in Kenyan Safari Camp Iberdrola Plans Over 400 New PV MW in Spain Small Hydro BPA Completes Ghana’s First Micro Hydropower Plant Wind Vestas develops solution for 48 MW wind park extension in Kazakhstan New Jersey Governor Signs Executive Order to Increase Offshore Wind Goal GE Renewable Energy announces 350 MW turbine order for wind farm in Texas Shizen Energy and Northland Power to Establish JV for Offshore Wind Projects in Japan Agenda Small Hydro Latin America 2019 Free Webinar Perfecting Solar Asset Management 9th World Climate Congress & Expo |
