House Democrats took to the steps of the U.S. Capitol Tuesday to unveil an ambitious plan to address climate change by pushing for the greater adoption of renewable energy and setting a goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Dominion Energy has successfully installed the two turbine, 12-MW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind pilot project 27 miles off Virginia Beach, Virginia. The first offshore wind farm to be approved by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and installed in federal waters, and second constructed in the U.S., was built safely and on schedule despite the worldwide impact from the coronavirus pandemic.
