New Southern Energy Installs First Commercial Floating Solar Farm in Africa 

African renewable energy company, New Southern Energy, has installed a state of the art microgrid solution at Marlenique Farm, owned by the Van der Merwe Family of the renowned Boplaas in Ceres. The farm is located just outside Franschoek. The farm produces export quality fruit and runs an award-winning wedding and function venue.

Risen Energy Signs Contract for 261MW with OPDEnergy

Risen Energy has signed a collaborative contract for a 261MW project with Spain’s OPDEnergy. Under the contract, the Chinese firm will provide the high-efficiency modules, required for  power stations to be built by OPDEnergy. The signing of the contract represents another example of Risen Energy's growing presence in the Spanish market.
