NTEC Submits Proposal for Solar Array at Navajo Mine

Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC) has partnered with Photosol US establishing the next step toward building a renewable energy portfolio on the Navajo Nation. Today, the companies submitted a proposal to site 200 MW, of a 400 MW, solar array on reclaimed Navajo Mine land. If accepted, the project could generate up to $20 million in tax revenues for the Navajo Nation over 40 years.

IMI provides technical expertise for innovative solar powered car project

Representatives of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) are assisting Ardingly Solar, a collaborative project between Ardingly College and Ifield Community College, to develop a solar powered car with ambitious plans for a road trip in 2021.

EIB Finances Largest Solar Project in Andalusia, Spain

The European Investment Bank is investing $48.9 million (€43.5 million) to finance the largest solar project in Andalusia and one of the most powerful in Spain. Despite the COVID-19-related lockdown in Spain, over 85% of the construction plan was successfully completed by May 2020.
