Wendy’s Central Florida Restaurants Sourcing Renewable Energy from Florida Power Grid

The Wendy’s Company announced that seven restaurants in the Central Florida area are now sourcing renewable energy from Duke Energy Florida’s Clean Energy Connection program. In early 2023, a total of 10 Wendy’s restaurants in this region will be powered by solar energy through participation in the program.

Global renewable energy company Low Carbon has announced that construction has begun of four solar farms in the Netherlands, which will have a combined installed capacity of 53.1MWp from more than 88,000 solar modules.

SRP to Add 340 MW of Additional Battery Storage with Two New Projects From Plus Power

Salt River Project announced signed contracts with Plus Power to bring online two grid-charged battery storage systems with a total combined output of 340 megawatts (MW) by early summer 2024. This is enough energy to power more than 76,000 average size residential homes over a four-hour period.
