Avaada Energy Wins Solar Project From Ruvnl

Avaada Energy, an arm of Avaada Group – India's leading integrated energy group with business interests in Renewable Power Generation, Solar Module Manufacturing, Electrolyzer manufacturing and Green Ammonia production, will set up a state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar PV power project in Rajasthan.

Verano Energy Adds Projects to Portfolio in Latin America 

A significant milestone for the renewable energy developer, Verano Energy, was the closing of the purchase process of three photovoltaic solar parks in Colombia, with a total of 296 MWp, under the new resolution of the UPME (Unidad de Planeación Minero-Energética), the Colombian regulator that delivers or assigns interconnections. Photovoltaic solar energy is the key to a more sustainable future and it is Verano's commitment and focus to be a relevant player in Latam in this area, with its presence in Chile, Peru, Argentina, and now reactivating Colombia.  

Recurrent Energy Signs Aggregation Deal for 100 MW of Solar Energy in Texas

Recurrent Energy, LLC , a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., announced that it has signed an aggregated virtual power purchase agreement with EMD Electronics, Biogen Inc., Wayfair Inc., Autodesk, Inc. and a large healthcare company for 100% of the production capacity of the Liberty Solar project. Recurrent Energy is currently developing the 100 MWac solar project in Liberty County, Texas, around 50 miles from Houston. The project is expected to be operational in 2024.

First Solar acquires European thin film company Evolar 

First Solar has announced that it has acquired Evolar AB, a European leader in perovskite technology, in order to accelerate the development of next-generation PV technology, including high-efficiency tandem devices.

Imerys and TotalEnergies Partner on Renewable Power 

Imerys, a world's leading supplier of mineral-based specialty solutions, is partnering with TotalEnergies to install a large-scale solar power system paired with battery energy storage at its Lompoc facility in Santa Barbara County, California, as part of a long-term energy services contract. This project is in alignment with Imerys' commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across its global facilities and will eliminate approximately 7,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

TotalEnergies Launches Its Largest Battery Energy Storage Project in Europe

TotalEnergies has launched at its Antwerp refinery (Belgium), a battery farm project for energy storage with a power rating of 25 MW and capacity of 75 MWh, equivalent to the daily consumption of close to 10,000 households.
