Biden-Harris Administration Announces $45 Million to Boost Domestic Solar Manufacturing

As part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, the U.S. Department of Energy announced $45 million, including $18 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, to support pilot manufacturing of solar components that can contribute to a domestic manufacturing sector capable of meeting the Administration’s solar deployment goals.

Companies Partner on Development of Agricultural PV in France

Sun’Agri and RWE have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of Agri-PV in France through new projects that combine agricultural benefits and green electricity production. In particular, the partnership will operationally support the implementation of integrated solutions for growing fruit, vegetables and wine.

Matrix Renewables Acquires Stillhouse Solar Project 

Matrix Renewables, the TPG Rise-backed global renewable energy platform, today announced that it has acquired the Stillhouse Solar Project, a late-stage development 284 MWdc solar project in Bell County, Texas, from OCI Solar Power, a leading developer of utility scale solar projects. 

Schletter Supplies Largest PV Plant In Austria 

Austria's largest photovoltaic plant is currently under construction in the municipality of Nickelsdorf in Burgenland. The photovoltaic plant, which is community owned, will be the first PV plant in Austria to break the 100 MW threshold. For the installation, the Austrian project developer Sonnenbau GmbH relied on the FS UNO single-pile mounting system from the Schletter Group.  

Biden joins Enphase Energy to open South Carolina US manufacturing facility

President Joe Biden, toured the Columbia, South Carolina, facility of global diversified  manufacturer Flex, one of Enphase Energy’s three contract manufacturing partnerships in the US, last week.
