Australia’s Origin Energy has agreed to supply 75 percent of Sydney Airport’s electricity using wind power in an innovative energy agreement that combines renewables with firming generation and supports the airport’s goal of halving its carbon intensity by 2025.

Prysmian to Provide Cables for French Offshore Wind Farms

Eolien Maritime France, a partnership between French company EDF Energies Nouvelles and Canadian company Enbridge, has awarded Italy's Prysmian Group with the design, supply and installation of inter array cables for two offshore wind farms, Fécamp and Courseulles-sur-Mer. The wind farms are located off the northern coast of France. The contracts, worth over €200 million ($233.2 million) are expected to proceed in early autumn.
