Siemens Gamesa named preferred supplier for largest US offshore wind power project to date at 2.64 GW

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has been named as the preferred turbine supplier for the massive 2,640-MW Dominion Energy Virginia Offshore Wind project in the US. This is the largest offshore wind power project in the rapidly increasing US market to date. 

Acciona Puts its Ninth US Wind Farm Into Service in Texas

Acciona has begun operation of its ninth U.S. wind farm, the Palmas Altas Wind Farm. The wind farm, its second Texas project, represents a total investment of around $200 million and increases Acciona’s generating capacity in ERCOT to 238 MW

Duke Energy Renewables’ 200-MW Mesteño Wind Farm in Starr County, Texas began commercial operation on December 31st , 2019. It is Duke Energy’s fourth wind generation facility in Starr County and its 11th in Texas.
