NY Gov. Hochul Announces Start of Construction of New York's First Offshore Wind Project

Gov. Kathy Hochul alongside United States Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and other elected officials, recently celebrated the start of construction of South Fork Wind, New York's first offshore wind project, jointly developed by Ørsted and Eversource off the coast of Long Island. 

TÜV SÜD and Tractebel DOC form offshore wind partnership

TÜV SÜD and Tractebel DOC have signed an agreement announcing their intention to collaborate on offshore wind energy focusing on joint project implementation and the development of new markets and services. TÜV SÜD and Tractebel DOC have already collaborated successfully with French electricity transmission system operator Réseau de Transport d'Electricité, S.A.
