Ørsted and CIP Partner to Develop Offshore Wind in Denmark

Ørsted and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) have entered into a partnership to develop approx. 5.2 gigawatts of offshore wind in Denmark across four projects. The partnership can accelerate the green transformation greatly, create value in the offshore wind industry, strengthen value- and job creation, and create a Danish business and export stronghold within Power-to-X.

DNV awarded contract for South Korea’s largest offshore wind farm

Independent energy expert and assurance provider DNV has been appointed owner’s engineer by Korean renewable energy development company Elenergy Co Ltd for its 1.5 GW fixed-bottom Chujin offshore wind project. When completed in 2027, the Chujin plant will be the largest commercial-scale offshore wind farm in the country.

Scottish Ministers have approved an application by Fred. Olsen Renewables to extend Rothes Wind Farm in Moray. The plans, for an additional 28 turbines, will bring the total number of turbines at the site to 68 and deliver over 100MW of additional electricity.
