Vestas Announces $40 Million Investment to Manufacture V163-4.5 MW™ Turbine in Colorado

Vestas plans to manufacture its newest turbine for the U.S. market – the V163-4.5 MW – in its Brighton Nacelles and Windsor Blades factories, bringing new investments to its established Colorado onshore manufacturing footprint. 

EverWind to Purchase and Develop Three Nova Scotia Wind Farms 

EverWind Fuels, Canada's most advanced large-scale green hydrogen project, announced the purchase of three wind farm development projects: Windy Ridge, and in partnership with Membertou, Bear Lake and Kmtnuk, together representing approximately 530MW. The wind farms will represent a private investment in new, clean, renewable energy generation in Nova Scotia to power Phase 1 of EverWind's green hydrogen and ammonia project.

Critical Milestone Paves the Way for NJ's First Offshore Wind Farm to Begin Construction 

Ocean Wind 1, New Jersey’s first offshore wind farm, today announced receipt of its Record of Decision (ROD) from the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, successfully reaching a major milestone in the federal environmental review process. With this milestone, Ocean Wind 1 remains on track to begin onshore construction activities in the fall of 2023, with offshore construction ramping up in 2024.

TotalEnergies Wins 2 Maritime Leases to Develop Offshore Wind Farms in Germany

TotalEnergies has been awarded by the German Federal Network Agency two marine concessions, N-12.1 and O-2.2, at the end of the auction held in Germany. Located in the North Sea, 170 kilometers off the coast, concession N-12.1 covers an area of around 200 square kilometers. Located in the Baltic Sea 40 kilometers from the coast, concession O-2.2 has a surface area of around 100 square kilometers.
