Scatec and Aeolus, part of Toyota Tsusho Group, join forces for Tunisia solar projects

Renewable energy provider Scatec ASA has signed a partnership agreement with Aeolus SA to jointly develop and own renewable energy projects in Tunisia while also financial close has been achieved for the 120 MW Sidi Bouzid and Tozeur solar projects (each 60 MW), which are part of the partnership agreement.

rPlus Energies Secures Over $1B in Financing for 800 MW Green River Energy Center

rPlus Energies , base in Salt Lake City, Utah, has closed on over $1 billion in construction debt financing for its Green River Energy Center project subsidiary. Located in Emery County, an area with a long history of energy production, the project is comprised of 400 megawatts (MW) of solar PV and 400 MW/1,600 megawatt-hours of battery storage and has a power purchase agreement with PacifiCorp.
