GE and Forestalia Sign Agreement to Install up to 693 MW of Wind Energy in Spain

GE Vernova announced today that it has signed a framework agreement with Forestalia to install up to 693 MW of onshore wind turbines across 16 future project sites throughout the Aragon region in Spain. Through this exclusive framework agreement, 110 of GE’s 6.1-158 wind turbines will be installed in six phases near Zaragoza. The first phase is already underway with 33 wind turbines to be installed at five wind farms. The deal builds on the success of the previous agreement signed in 2016 and expands GE’s largest wind collaboration in Spain.

Turtle Defib Cabinets – a manufacturer of defibrillators and supplier of medical equipment – has designed and engineered the first solar and wind powered defibrillator cabinet in the UK.  The launch of the product creates an opportunity to set higher standards when it comes to saving lives in environments where an electricity supply may be restricted or cost-prohibitive to install; for example, construction sites, leisure providers like golf courses and public parks, and the agricultural sector.

Alfen Signs Agreement with Windpark de Plaet to Provide 20MWh of Storage Capacity

Alfen, has signed an agreement with Windpark de Plaet to install integrated solutions at Windpark de Plaet in Ooltgensplaat, the Netherlands. These solutions, which include a 20MWh TheBattery Elements energy storage system, will be seamlessly integrated into the existing site by incorporating Alfen's Diabolo 40H transformer substation.
