The winners will be announced at a glamorous awards ceremony and dinner on 24th September being held at the Hurlingham Club in London.
2020 sees a change in the award categories, to better reflect the Association and to celebrate a wider range of projects and innovations. ADE is focusing on its four key sectors - heat, power, flexibility and efficiency - recognising proven and aspirational projects from across the sector, whereas the award categories previously focused on end-users – industrial, commercial, communities and domestic, with a separate innovation award. The award categories are:
Operational awards for: heat, power, flexibility, energy efficiency and integrated energy
Innovation awards for: heat, power, flexibility, energy efficiency and integrated energy
Individual awards for Industry Champion and Rising Star
Special award for contribution to zero carbon
The sell-out event is a night of celebration, attracting 500 guests from across the sector as well as senior members of the UK Government.
Entry is free and participants can submit as many entries as they choose to each of the categories.
The ADE is looking for good news stories to help celebrate and promote the industry’s achievements. It wants to hear projects made a difference, about the journey taken and the impact made. The entries must be technically robust, but the ADE are looking for a human angle too.
Entries are welcome from all those involved in decentralised energy – manufacturers, suppliers, ESCOs, utilities, consultants and more. Participants do not have to be a member of the ADE to enter.
All categories are open to all technologies covered by the ADE, including CHP, heat networks, energy efficiency, demand response, and integrated energy.
